TOO MUCH EXERCISE IS NOT ENOUGH

A new study suggests spending hours at the gym in a bid to burn fat is a waste of time.

 

City University New York investigated the metabolisms of 300 men and women, with a variety of exercise regimes. With gym bunnies who exercise more than two to three times a week they found that after a certain point, no amount of exercise was burning more fat than someone who participates in a few hours of low impact exercise - like a walk to work - weekly. 

 

The study also showed the importance of a healthy diet when trying to lose weight; so whatever you chose to do to replace those wasted hours at the gym, make sure it’s not tucking into a burger!
